*Pantoum

A verse form composed of four line stanzas (quatrain) in which the second and fourth lines are repeated as the first and third lines of the following quatrain.

Directions

Line 1: _________________
Line 2: _________________
Line 3: _________________
Line 4: _________________
Line 5 (repeat of line 2)
Line 6: _________________
Line 7 (repeat of line 4)
Line 8: _________________
The ending stanza then repeats the second and fourth lines of the previous stanza (as its first and third lines), and also repeats the third line of the first stanza, as its second line, and the first line of the first stanza as its fourth. So the first line of the poem is also the last.
Last stanza:
Line 9: (line 2 of previous stanza)
Line 10: (line 3 of first stanza)
Line 11: (line 4 of previous stanza)
Line 12: (line 1 of first stanza)

*Pantoum Example :

What others see is not the real you
"You" is more than the physical
What defines our lives?
Our goals and accomplishments
"You" is more than the physical
What is important?
Our goals and accomplishments
Our dreams and passions
What is important?
What defines our lives?
Our dreams and passions
What others see is not the real you
